FLUMINENSE VS CHELSEA
The first semi final of the new edition of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Fluminense faced off against Chelsea at the MetLife Stadium in the semi-finals of the new FIFA Club World Cup. Their dream tournament sadly came to an end after suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Blues.
Chelsea saw themselves advance to the final of the tournament thanks to a masterclass performance from the new lad, Joao Pedro. The Brazilian had a dream match against his boyhood club in his first start for the Blues. I’m sure this was a highly emotional game for him and the Fluminense fans. The goals by JP were strikes of beauty. For Chelsea fans, they can hope that Joao’s arrival would end the search for their next top-class striker, after so many attempts. If that game was anything to go by, I would say the Blues have struck gold. Here are the goals from Joao Pedro.
The second goal was just as beautiful.
The game in itself was evenly matched, with both teams showing an effort to get the victory. Fluminense’s best chance came in the 25th minute from a well-worked move that almost ended up with a goal. Cucurella was there to make a goal line clearance and prevent Nense from equalizing after Rob Sanchez’s delayed reaction to a deadly through ball.
Chelsea now has a chance to clinch their second title of the season against the winner of the second semifinal between PSG and Real Madrid. The final, to be held at MetLife on 13/07/2025, is sure to be a spectacle.

JP,Neto, Palmer are giving us hope.In my view,Jackson should not be in the starting squad while Caisedo should not fail to start.
JP is sure full of life! What a performance! Spectacular to say the least.
Chelsea has secured their place in the final.
Let's see what transpires.
